🌸 Fundraiser for Holly DeCaro 🌸

If you’ve spent any time around the ECEA or Meteor Motorcycle Club, chances are you know Holly DeCaro. Holly isn’t just a volunteer — she’s been the heart and backbone of our community for decades. She’s the person who always showed up, always supported the riders, and always made sure the events we love went off without a hitch.

On January 13, 2023, Holly was diagnosed with Stage 3 Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC), Triple Negative (TNBC), and carries the BRCA I gene. She has been fighting this battle with the same determination and spirit she’s shown all of us over the years. Now it’s our turn to rally behind her.

Here’s just some of what Holly has given to our sport:

💖 Meteor Motorcycle Club (since 1986) – Worked emergency checks for 20+ years, organized banquets, handled sign-ups, built teams, pitted for riders, managed drawings and row assignments, and jumped in wherever she was needed.

💖ECEA (since 2006) – Helped set up banquets, handled ads, ticket sales, seating, vendor coordination, awards, and still plays a huge role in making banquets happen today.

💖HS Committee (since 2014) – Secretary, worked the gates, flagged starts, and continues to serve even while undergoing treatment.

💖Enduro Committee (since 2018) – Rider memberships, flyer reviews, event sign-ups, scoring, equipment setup/breakdown, and countless behind-the-scenes support for riders and clubs.

💖Social Media Chair (2025 – present) – Promotes events, keeps riders informed, and manages the ECEA forums.

✨ Holly has spent nearly 40 years lifting up this community. She’s given her heart and energy to the sport we all love — now, let’s give some of that love back to her.

As part of this fundraiser, we are selling special jerseys in Holly’s honor. Nothing would make her happier than seeing the sport she loves filled with riders rocking these jerseys — a symbol of our support and gratitude for everything she has done.
